"The Business Therapy project was born out of my desire to help people experience fulfillment and joy in their work or business."
Mgr. Anna Cimburková, MBA
I am the founder of Business Therapy, a project born out of my desire to help people experience fulfillment and joy in their work or business.
With over ten years of experience in business, diplomacy, the non-profit sector, and strategic planning, I believe the time has come to share the knowledge and tools I've gained to help others develop their potential.
My journey began with studying International Relations and European Studies, which opened doors to the world. I enhanced my education with summer programs in Toronto, Madrid, Barcelona, and the Visegrad Diplomatic School in Krakow. Before completing my master's degree, I attended a summer semester at Harvard University, focusing on Globalization and US National Security.
I started building my professional experience in the diplomatic and governmental sectors, working at the Embassy of Peru and the Senate of the Czech Republic. Later, I transitioned to the non-profit sector, collaborating on EU international projects within the Iron Mountains Local Action Group.
I spent over six years at the British Chamber of Commerce, where I focused on strategic planning and building key business relationships. I led the mentoring program Equilibrium, supporting women in business, and co-founded Ment2Grow, a program designed to help Czech B2B start-ups expand globally. These programs demonstrated the importance of understanding what people truly need and helping them create a path to achieve their goals. Working with female leaders on their individual careers and with dynamic start-ups taught me how to identify key solutions, connect them with the right partners, and create environments where growth and success flourish.
During my career, I furthered my education and earned an MBA with a specialization in Business Administration and Management. I utilized a year of parental leave to continue studying at Harvard University, completing courses in Organizational Leadership and Remote Work Revolution for Everyone.
As my next professional challenge, I took on the role of CEO at the Automatic Mills Foundation, where my task was to establish its foundation for operations. Within one year, we built a team, implemented all necessary processes, and ensured a stable framework for further growth.
As part of my personal development, I am currently studying Psychology of Emotions at the University of Cambridge, allowing me to better understand human needs and emotions.
Today, through Business Therapy, I combine skills in communication, active listening, and identifying key challenges with strategic planning and process creation. I have developed tools like the Business Strategy Canvas and the Career Strategy Canvas to help clients structure their thoughts, pinpoint critical areas to address, and find a clear path to achieving their goals.
Business Therapy exists to help people discover their potential, overcome obstacles, and find a meaningful path forward.
